OWNESTATE

OwnEstate has been involved in investment-type real estate sales for 1.5 year. In Georgia there is a special demand for service apartments in Batumi, especially from foreigners and Georgian emigrants. OwnEstate has partnered with several local developers such as Alliance Group and Elt Building. With our help, 15 service apartments were sold to Georgian emigrants living in Western Europe. Our experience has shown us that many emigrants are not going to return to Georgia, it is just important for them to invest in real estate and get a return.

The investor base, which we got after 18 months of intensive work, allowed us to experiment with offering a tool for fractional (equity) owners. In the first quarter of 2021 we launched a campaign to attract new money.

As part of the campaign, in order to be able to manage the financing of dozens of retail investors, we created an independent LLC on whose balance we contributed the accumulated initial capital and in return we gave the mentioned investors a share in proportion to their investment.

With the collected 350K USD, the mentioned company financed the residential real estate project together with the partner development company ‘Neocon’.

  • In 2022 year, OWNESTATE  won GITA start-up matching grants in the amount of 150,000 GEL.
